Who I am

Katie Raspberry

Katie runs a marketing boutique, LIDER Marketing, that was founded in 2011. She  was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and has founded three businesses of her own within the region. Her first business was founded at the age of 19 while she attended college. After taking that step into the world of business ownership she never looked back at the world of employment.

Katie’s main focus when writing her blog is to help build and grow a strong small business community. Katie volunteers several hours every month to selected entrepreneurs who show remarkable amounts of ambition towards their business ventures. She even hosts a number of workshops for selected businesses so she can provide free marketing services and consultation. She explains that the aim is to grow their business while helping them meet their key objectives to stay afloat.

Try not to confuse love with beauty, don’t give up freedom for power or fame, and never lose your happiness for money. Discover that and you will earn more respect and success than anyone else ever will.

  5. Great blog. Very interesting topics and I noticed that You have a lot of passion in such a difficult field like economics :) To bad it only sounds easy. The market is brutal (a great discovery of mine ha ha ha) and it quickly verifies every business sooner or later. All the best :)

    1. Hi Matt!
Economics takes time to understands but it’s so interesting once you’ve experienced it. And yes it does infact vary from what type of business you have to how much funds you have etc. However, people who love a challenge take it, and see where it takes them.

      Thanks for reading!
I hope I hear back from you.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed most of it (hehe) – You’re comment about integrating a new trend in corporate responsibility is quite flattering! Thank you!

      1. Ookay. That part is soon to become an important part of quality management, as far as I see it.
There are different projects running or in preparation nationally and internationally. Certainly also one of the recipes against the “Chinese flood”.
I was approached by one of the leading figures of one of these projects recently, a famous German ex-journalist, and I will post some articles about this topic soon. I would like to add some adjustments to this trend, to give it a more holistic twist.
Unfortunately for you and the rest of the English speaking community so far only in German.
        Take care.
        Harald
